Kakaako has seen rapid transformation from the warehouse district of old to high-rise condos, trendy cafes, art galleries, and boutiques. Features of the Residences
The residences at Hokua feature timeless interiors, with 9’ ceilings and designed to feel like a single-family home rather than a condominium. There are no 1-bedrooms in the building, and the smallest 2-bedroom is over 1,500 SF, which is larger than most other condo buildings where a 1,000 SF 2-bedroom would be considered huge. You'll find original finishes of carpet and stone flooring, with Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen appliances. The "wet room" design of the bathrooms feature separated showers and free-standing tubs.
All units come with Lanais, although they are small (most are around 30sq), and some residents have criticized their size. However, the huge sliding glass doors help to open up the units a bit more. Hokua features a single-loaded design, with all units ocean-facing, ensuring spectacular ocean and park views for every unit. Views are unobstructed and will remain so as long as Ala Moana beach park does. You'll get to enjoy breathtaking sunset views, unobstructed Diamond Head views, and fireworks.
